Eela is an aspiring playback singer and single mother. She has given up all her dreams to raise her only son. But now her baby son 'Vivan' is all grown up and being a typical young millennial, doesn't want his mother's life to revolve around him. But being an over protective mother, Eela has other ideas and joins her son's college to spend more time with him. It's summertime in a hot and empty Buenos Aires. Marcela's world is shaken when her sister dies, leaving her completely out of sorts. Still grieving, she must deal with clearing out her flat. One of her daughter’s young friends, Nacho, appears on the scene, eager to help, a presence which leads to shared road trips and adventures. During these confusing days, people and conversations from another time will mingle, prompting questions, while the imminence of everyday life closes in on her.
After years Toni and Rosa meet again in their old home village in southern Germany. While the village itself has to adapt to the changes of the future, the two women develop an explosive relationship until they reach a point, where both have to make a decision.
